“M G Warrior was a very nice horse to train and be around. He was a solid runner and would be a nice fit in the Arkansas breeding program,” Cox said.

Bred by Stephanie Clark in Kentucky, M G Warrior is out of the Bowman’s Band winner Marvel Gaye, who won at 2 and 3 earned more than $107,000. Marvel Gaye is out of Marvel (by Williamstown), who is a half sister to graded-placed winner Smokeyjonessutton, who was third in the Indiana Derby (G2) and New Orleans Handicap (G2).
