If there is one thing that is for certain, it’s that the pandemic has left it’s mark on this current ski season. So much has changed (some good, some bad) but regardless, people within the ski industry have been forced to pivot and get creative. This is especially true when it comes to après-ski. The day’s of boot dancing on table tops amidst new-found friends are gone for the foreseeable future. Instead après-ski has become more chill with most people opting to hang back at the house while enjoying adult bevvies.

Let’s be real though, despite what we all may think of our bartending skills, many of us are not expert mixologists. So why not leave it up to the pros to help you out with your at-home après-ski sessions? This is exactly the case as two distinguished members of the Park City Area Restaurant Association (PCARA) are collaborating to deliver a hyperlocal cocktail experience – right to your door.

As the winner of the PCARA Summer Cocktail Contest, High West Distillery has been awarded the opportunity to create three original cocktails to comprise an exclusive High West Bartenders Box from Top Shelf Services. Given the restrictions placed on chilling at the lodges, restaurants and bars this could not have come at a better time. Not to mention that High West Distillery knows a little something about making après-ski cocktails.

“This is the first year our Cocktail Contest winner will be featured in their very own Top Shelf Bartenders Box,” Park City Area Restaurant Association executive director Ginger Wicks said. “These craft cocktail experiences are becoming incredibly popular with locals, and we’re excited to see – and sip – three brand new creations from the talented High West mixology team.”

It’s Like a Food Box but With Booze

Similar to a high-end food box subscription, each Top Shelf Bartenders Box comes with exactly what you’ll need to stir or shake up the perfect cocktail. This includes fresh ingredients, helpful how-to videos, and everything patrons need to prepare high-end, quality cocktails at home.

Sadly, the boxes do not include alcohol. Lucky for you though, there are plenty of places to purchase High West spirits including: High West General Store in Old Town Park City, High West Distillery on Blue Sky Ranch in Wanship, or state liquor stores.
