At least 10 people, one a Boulder police officer, were killed after a shooting at the King Soopers supermarket in the Colorado municipality on Monday.
Police were on-site and the area around the supermarket was sealed off.
According to a statement released by the office of Governor of Colorado Jared Polis, the killed police officer was 51-year-old Eric Talley who had served the Boulder police department for 10 years.
The suspect has now been taken into custody and is being treated for injuries.
