to highlight the value of the XIX century building, YOD studio left some brick walls partly uncovered. the interior of the project reveals respect for local culture and craft traditions. upon entering the building, the visitor starts from the ‘varvar  pub’ on the first floor. this level houses a long wooden bar counter without any joint, made from the oak that used to be timber joists about 150 years ago, and screens with sports broadcasting.

‘to pay our tribute to the footwear workshop that had been located there a century ago, we made shoulders from wooden shoe lasts and wrapped all banisters with leather,’ says the studio.YOD group designs a six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukraineshoulders made from wooden shoe lasts – banisters wrapped with leather

custom-made glass lamps, vintage bauhaus chairs, and high shelves with wine bottles from all over the world complete the ‘win bar’ on the second floor. besides, appears a decorated wall with wooden casting molds. following the stairs to the third floor, a pure and clear area open towards; light wood, white tiles, dimmed light clad the ‘wona restaurant,’ while an open kitchen is set in the same space as a stage for gastronomic shows. meanwhile, the fourth level takes the form of a big kitchen where all dishes for the different floors menus are being prepared.YOD group designs a six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe second floor – win bar

on the fifth floor, the ‘buzz bar’ takes shape as a classical american bar with a square counter in the middle of the hall. a carpet with an artistic pattern clothes the floor, and rich light reflects the relief steel sloping ceiling. the sixth floor dubbed ‘molfar bar.’ its interior houses some dark glass bottles, deep lounge chairs, an open fireplace, furs, shadows, fragrances, and a chamber-like atmosphere.YOD group designs a six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe sixth floor – molfar bar – a ukrainian bar mixology, where ingredients were prepared in its own laboratory from local herbs and plants.YOD group designs a six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe first floor – varvar pub – self-service area, clients can pour some beer into a glass and pay for it by themselvesYOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe first floor – varvar pubYOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe second floor – win bar – the wall is decorated with wooden casting moldsYOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe third floor – wona restaurant – the open kitchenYOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe third floor – wona restaurant.YOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe fifth floor – buzz bar – a classical american bar, with a stage and a DJ place.YOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukrainethe fifth floor – buzz barYOD studio designs six-story conceptual bar within XIX century building in lviv, ukraine
